Rio Rico Marketplace LLC, dba Desert Ironwood | Sonora Ironwood is based in Rio Rico, Arizona. We have been selling quality desert ironwood (olneya tesota) since 2012. We have firmly established ourselves as leaders in the ironwood business. We believe in integrity in all of our business partnerships and strive to establish long-term relationships with like-minded people and businesses. We have customers in over 40 countries and work hard to help those customers grow their business by working closely with them to find solutions for their needs.
We sell knife handles, bookmatched pairs, pen blanks, and large blanks of various sizes as well as taking custom cut orders upon request.
We have a large number of blanks in stock at most times. The moisture content of our blanks generally runs from 10-15% and have undergone some curing before being offered for sale. We are currently expanding our product line to include many non-desert ironwood items as we continue to grow the business. Maybe as importantly as anything else we are usually available seven days a week and have a policy of answering any questions within a maximum of twenty-four hours, but usually within a couple of hours or less, and we stand 100% behind our products.
