Grading – We grade all of our woods and sell them at varying prices according to the grade. As a general rule of thumb, the highest figured wood is rated A++, A+, or A. Our Dark/Half and sapwood listings are all Grade A and A+ combo. Then we have B, C, and flaw. B is figured but may only be figured for half of the block. C has almost no figure but when polished to 2,000 grit or more looks like marble. Really cool and inexpensive. Flaws are generally not more than 10% flawed and are sold at around 70% of the Grade A price.
